Anyone know how much height a roof top tent adds?

I’ve got a 550 OT that fits through my 8’ garage door no problem. I am wondering if I could make it with an Rtt for the misses and me.

Top of roof rails near the back of the truck -77”

Lowest point of garage door - 96”

With a 1” safety factor, 18” sounds like plenty for crossbars plus most tents?

Cant see the pictures in the post above, but as far as the garage door opening you can move the up overtravel switch. It is located screw mechanism that opens the door. If you move it back .5-1" till you get it to where you want...
