RTT in winter heating?

whats a good heater option besides a lil buddy like a 12 volt low draw heater blanket/pad.

I bought an 12v electric blanket from Cabelas. I had buy a cigarette style extension cord. I slept on top of it in a sleeping bag and it worked well, has a 30 and 45 minute timer. When it shuts off, you have to hit reset button, but I'm sure you can bypass that.
