Yup just got back from Richard's. Turns out one of the guys didn't fill the transfer. I was running it dry for a week. Ugh.

Richard is totally apologetic and has already located a rebuilt transfer and they were in the middle of buttoning everything up when I stopped by this morning.

It's amazing how far they'll go without oil. Seen it happen. Built by another shop, came to me for "some noise". :D

Pics would be fun, but you don't wanna smell that nuclear melt-down.

Mistakes like this can happen. It's one of the drawbacks of having employees. Preventable issues ........:frown:

I worked in a garage way back in High School and the owner sent out a new Camaro without any oil in the engine or slushbox ...

That was expensive.

But a WEEK without gear oil - that is impressive.

Sorry, Joey, but like Mark A. said to me when I was Wednesday's-child with the 60, eventually you will fix it all and it will run like nothing was ever wrong. And he was right.

Glad Richard took care of it so quickly for ya! :)

Well that day is not today :D

And yeah Richard was great, no hesitance at all.
