I fought this for the last 5 years where the truck felt great expect over expansion joints or small cracks in the road. It bugged me to no end. I have a LX470 and went through the whole suspension and AHC system. I got everything within spec but it never really fixed the rough ride over expansion joints.
Well I replaced the rear upper control arms and front seat bar links. One of those 2 items completely changed the ride. I suspect it was the rear upper arms. The sway bar links just started squeaking is the only reason I replaced them. The control arm bushings were shot.
If you are having the same symptoms check the rear control arm bushings!
