Nice writeup! Just curious what FOR would do if you ran a front bumper and winch- change the bilstiens or would the spring rate be changed? Have you thought about doing a bumper in the future?

Yes, I plan to do the FOR tube bumper. Part of this entire equation is not adding a lot of weight along with creating the approach and departure angles of a taller lift by using tube instead of full coverage stamped bumpers. I will also use a lighter winch at the point I do a winch, along with synthetic rope. I figure I can easily shave half the weight of your typical ARB/Warn combo while creating quite a bit better clearance and better strength for offroad rock crawling use. So no mods to springs or shocks should be required.

I will do the same for the rear bumper at some point - trim the frame and use tube to get better strength without weight gain while dramatically improving departure angle.
