the bush comapany tent is probably the heaviest ive seen its 190Lbs BUT it can be attached right to roof rails(rain gutter) unlike the alu cab, so that would lose the weight of the rack, making it lighter. It a direction I may want to go, because the Aplha RTT as they call it, has better heat/cold insulation than my Expedition 3 and beter awnings,interior etc. But yes many are going heavy, and several like go fast and falcon are very light.
