That happened last night!
YES! I know him! As a matter of fact, i was supposed to be on that run last night!!!!! I got a email at 3am this morning! He's ok, his cage saved his life (im not kidding). They did a night run last night at Cleghorn Rd. I was gonna go with but i bailed last minute cause i just didn't feel like going. He flipped end over end about 5 times on 'pucker hill'.

End over end 4-5 times. If he didn't have a cage in it, he probably wouldn't be here today.

Good to see he was all right. He lives right around the corner from me. From the pictures on that website looks like this rig has been everywhere. Just goes to show that you need to keep your guard up at all times, oh yea and roll cages are a good investment.
That makes having a roll cage seem pretty important, it definitely saved that guys life. I went down Pucker Hill a couple of weeks back after the built-up short wheel based Jeep decided not to, and those videos don't do it justice at all - a very very steep and sketchy climb. The long wheel base of the 80 was a good thing. Glad that guy is ok.
That must have been one hell of a ride.

Yeah, his head got banged up a little. Not as bad as the pic show though. He's a little bruised and battered today. He's a older felllow so it's come to be expected. The link no longer works cause they deleted the post.
That front bumper looks like the ones that Mark used to make at ORGS. Glad the guy is ok.
