Since we are on the topic of hitch carriers and potential mess.. has anyone found a high quality bike cover for when it's on the rack? one that won't tear up from the turbulence behind the vehicle over a long trip and such?

I'll be hauling my bike to colorado with potentially bad weather for significant chunks of that..

I've got this for my fat bike on a 1up rack. Very high quality and durable enough for studded tires. Made in USA too!

Yeah everything about them is very nice. Well thought out and very well made. I'm guessing you could get 10+ years of daily use out of them.
