I am just getting familiar with my iPad. I use it with ForeFlight and JeppView for flight planning and enroute stuff on the plane.
Flew from Calgary to Delhi India using Jeppview.
Now I'm starting to get excited about using it in my landcruiser. I went to GPS City and got a Ram mount and will soon figure out an install onto my dash.
I haven't looked at more than the threads on 60's and 80's, a lot of really knowledgable guys here for sure!

So I found this website for everyones interest.

What I'm thinking here is, how about people listing these various sites for all to use. Especially maybe we can get guys to rate them as being good, fantastic, or
- if you use this you'll drive off the loading ramp of BC ferries Bad!

I am really looking for off road, backroad topo sites that are downloadable, and not dependant on cellular reception.

LINK----->>>>>Tripadvisor is not strictly related to off road, but I found it very useful on our trip from Reno to New Jersey last year. We found the hotel and restaurant reviews to be dead on, unlike the AAA app.

LINK----->>>>>GPS Essentials is handy. I haven't found a good set of free or cheap downloadable maps for it yet but it works well with Google maps. Not sure if they offer an Iphone version of this one.

LINK----->>>>> RollMe Over is a great off road app, it works very well and the author is a Mudder.
