ROAD SIGN ASSIST aka 'Over Speed Limit' warning

Is this in the US Models?

One of the guys in the FB groups had some questions.

YouTube shows it in US models. He gets the same service (over speed warn) via Escort Detector. Usually the warning comes directly from the detector but several times it's come through the vehicle sound system... but not always??? Does the car itself have it?

Here in AU we have it on a corrolla only, no other models

I think there's an app, Escort Live that pairs with the detector. Maybe when the app is open it's connected through Bluetooth and projecting the speed limit alert through the vehicle independently from the detector itself? I'd find the setting in the app to turn off the speed limit alert (different than turning it off on the detector itself) and see if that changes anything.

If it’s just Bluetooth audio turning off the stereo should stop it.
