Rising Sun has decided on a date of Sept 19 to do the 2015 40s only run. They haven't decided on a trail yet, but it sounds like they will have a good turn out for the event. I think my 40 is ready to go, so I plan on heading up to whatever trail they do. Anybody else with a 40 want to join me? It would be nice to have a good showing from CO Landcruisers!

Sheryll and I can head up after work on the 18th. and return on the 20th. Lets get together and figure out where we will camp. Can't be too far or it would be dark trying to set up camp.

Might be game for this one, any membership requirements othe than TLCA? Not too many folks on this side of the valley. Maybe FLCA or NFC? Would like to tentatively plan on going, but no login for the CLC site. Do they limit number of participants?
 
Bret...shouldn't be any membership requirements, other than having a 40. I know the rising sun club enjoying having us CLC folks come up for events. You do need a separate log in for the rising sun forum, but other than that, you should be good to go.

Doug...I plan on it...I haven't checked the thread in awhile...will do so tonight and try and figure out what trail they are doing. I think I may have a clutch issue...will work on figuring that out the next couple of weeks. Hopefully by mid sept its ready to go!
 
So is anyone still planning on going? Making tentative plans, thinking of trailering up Friday after work and returning Sat evening. Need to get my diff finished though.
 
I ended up with the bad throwout baring so won't be making it up on the run. Really bummed about it! Doug and I are planning on going up to BV and doing Hancock Pass on Saturday...camping Friday night and Saturday night. Don't know where we'll be camping yet, but you're more than welcome to join us there for some milder wheeling and fresh air.
 
Wish you guys could have made it, had 19 trucks show up. If y'all made it we would have set the record. There are a few photo's that are print worthy, not sure when they'll surface. Here's a mutt version.

Hmm... can't see any trailer queens there..Just real tuff '40s. Those are not SUVs! Those are the real TUVs! (Tough Utility Vehicles.)
