Let me know if anyone is interested in hitting up Valley of the Moon after the meet up. I am also planning on heading down to Ocotillo after VOM to camp out in the desert overnight. Its been cooling off a little bit and getting into the 70's at night so I'm going to test it out 
Ended up heading out solo and ran up the back side of VotM, I ran into 2 other rigs out there but otherwise it was wide open. Ended up meeting up with a buddy down in Ocotillo Saturday afternoon and we camped out for the night. It wasn't too bad out there, about 88 when I arrived and got down to the high 60's overnight which made for some great camping! That and about 7 or 8 beers and some tri tip and I slept like a baby! Desert season is almost upon us!
