Hello there, I am just wondering how much would be the right price to pay for a 89 Toyota pickup extended cab 4x4? I just saw one posted online in my area with 150xxx miles, 22re, manual transmission, no rust and pretty good conditions. Any suggestions?

I have seen 6-8k for a really nice 4banger truck, seen them go for way less. A lot is depending on where, what shape, and what the market is doing:meh:

Depends on how desperate the seller is also;)

I would search all over that frame for rust if it's a Fl truck. $3500-4500 for a nice extended cab with no frame rust would be about right, though I've seen them go for $3k or less on a good day

Was it the one in the Tampa area? Looks like it has been on CL for a while. $7500 is a little step for the market right now unless that thing is perfect inside and out.

I went through the same thing looking for a good 1st Gen 4Runner. For a while you couldn't get them at a decent price, then the market flopped and I was able to get one cheap.

Drive down, check it out:cheers:

It's a 26 year old truck. Value will be somewhere between $100 and $100,000. In the end, it's worth exactly what you are willing to pay for it.

Most people would think I was insane for what I paid for mine back in 2002. But it was worth it to me, I'm glad I bought it.
