Well, going in to finish my suspension upgrade on this old body. Left knee replaced last July is doing fine so going in tomorrow (Tuesday, November 26) to have the right knee replaced. Will be down another 6 weeks.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Brent!

Kick ass like you did with the left one buddy! All your prep should pay off in spades. May your recovery be swift and good.

Home from the hospital as of Wednesday late afternoon. Only one day this time, just amazing. New femoral block procedure only numbed the leg instead of completely deadening it so still have use of the quads. No brace needed to walk. :bounce: Also long acting pain med injected into soft tissue around the knee controlled the pain much better this time around. I think all that plus a shorter time under anethesia helped a great deal. Now the fun begins with PT.

Mo - I promise, I'm not trying to catch your surgery count! ;)

Lol! I hope you never do my friend. ;)

Very glad to hear all went so smoothly. Regional blocks/local anesthesia are very cool. It is amazing what a difference being able to treat the surgical site vs having to treat the whole body and mind just to get treatment to the surgical site.

Brent, glad to hear the procedure went well. Hope to see you back on the trail soon.

Man, I think my shoulder is worn out really bad, they grind the day after I work out... Should I be worried? haha

Full PT session this morning. Leg is straight to 3 degrees and bends to 88 degrees already. Therapist was very happy with those results, as am I! Much better than at this point in July. Pain level is also much less this time around which is great.

Ditched the walker for a cane today also! I hated using that walker, especially around the house!

Staples came out this morning, all 29 of them! Incision is healing nicely and walking correctly along with both bending and straightening the leg are progressing better than the left knee did last July. Couldn't be happier.

Small scarifice for missing Toys for Tots! Will be there next year at Pendelton tho!

Outstanding news Brent!

We're looking forward to Pendelton as well! Hopefully the kids are healthy this time next year...
