RHD Safari Snorkels on Ebay Great Price

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. I found RHD Safari snorkels on ebay for $169 plus $49 for shipping. The add doesn't say Safari but I looked at the picture and the snorkel says Safari right on it. That's a great price as they normally go for around $549 ish. (Outback Imports)

I'm thinking of picking one up but I already have a K&N intake on my HDJ81 and I'm not sure if I can run the K&N and a snorkel??? Anyone know?

I read somewhere that you have to re-install the factory air cleaner in order to run a snorkel.

fiberglass. Not the nice plastic thats durable.
Fiberglass will fade with UV exposure and crack....

It's out of Malaysia. In other words, it's not a Safari.

Is your K&N just an open filtration element inside the engine bay? If so, then running a snorkel won't be helping you. You need to have a completely sealed intake setup going into the fender, like the stock setup, for a snorkel to work.

I would avoid this one. Not sure who makes and missing parts. Remember you have to cut a huge hole in your fender so it should be the right one.

In the close up it says Safari. I guess I will forget it. I didn't know there was a difference between the fibreglass ones and the plastic.
