I'm not happy with the shape of the right side.
Now that the patch is in I can see that there is still a dent half way up the hood that has an effect on the shape in the front. If you look at the pictures you can see that the left side is almost flat when it should be angling up.
Still looking at how to fix it.

If you look closely you can spot the difference between left and right.

Here you can see the dent in the profile of the hood (were the drill bit points at). It twists the profile bringing the corner in and dropping the front part of the corner. I didn't notice untill the patch was welded. Now I need to cut the corner and get the correct shape back.

After masaging, clamping, using a bfh and bending the heck out of it the shape finaly got close.

It is funny that you can not see the wrong shape untill it is welded in. By using a countour gauge like this I could at least get the angles right. And now I'm out of gas and won't be able to get a refill for a while as work is to busy and I won't be home during the time the stores are open.

Love the work, very cool, now will somebody send this guy a usable hood.
This one is going to be fine, its just the first step. Wait untill you see the bib and fenders.
