Reverse lights quit working

I noticed my reverse lights aren't working. Is it likely that both bulbs are burned out? Or is there an switch on ther transmission that needs to be checked?

Before I'd go crawling underneath, I'd check all the fuses, then pull the housing off and take a look at the bulbs, test them. If they are still OK, then check the sockets to see if there is power there.

I'm with KLF. Don't jump to conclusions, test the components. Start with the obvious stuff. Break the system down into logical segments and narrow it down.
