I was going to replace my mirrors because they were so beat up and stiff. I couldn't even adjust the tilt. I took both my mirrors off and decided to freshen them up. I sprayed silicon spray in all the joints on the mirror, did a light sand and wash, put two coats of plastic primer on them, and some black spray paint. Not sure how long they will last, but they look better than they did before. Cheap fix up: $13 in materials and day and half time (mostly for drying). The before picture doesn't do it justice, it was faded on the top to a chrome color.
