Rev Limiter Setting

My old 93 would bury the tach beyond the numbers, whatever that was, no limiter.

My 94 does run into some limiter, once it's back on the road I'll bang the limiter and report what rpm it is.

Good to know, my rig is a daily & can't afford to find my engine limitations of failure.

5500 is the rev limiter on all the 1FZs I've encountered. Can't see that 6k or so would hurt it but would expect rod bolt issues to be the first thing to manifest itself.

So with a fresh 1FZ one can hold the throttle all the way to the floor at 5500. 4600 being peak HP 5500 would be on the back hill slope of peak power though.
