Please post more photos of the wheel uninstalled where repaired of the rubber and also close up stitching, if possible.
Thank you very much.

Below is the only other picture I have containing the repair in which I utilized the Shoe Goop and a few more close ups of the stitching.

btslaser, here you go. Keep in mind that using it alone won't feel great, a few minutes of driving and the moisture of your hands cause them to stick....just an FYI

I have a leather cover waiting to get stitched... just curious about the silicone layer to make it thicker/smooth out imperfections. Link?

Anyone in here has done this please post pictures and let members know how hard it is and average how many hours to spend on it? I don't think an amateur likes me can do this. The photos above looks like from professional did it.

Tom I am an amateur but it all depends on your skillset. I am by no any means a professional but I have always been good with working with my hands and this is the third wheel I've ever stitched. While I'm happy with the outcome, I know it would come out better if it was done by @MScruiser or a professional but I'm that type that like to tackle projects if I know I'm capable. If you just consider the time for stitching the wheel, each of these took me about 5 hours.

@Metric997 that looks great and you've inspired me to do the same thing. Can I ask a couple questions? Did you use the satin black or landau? Also it looks like you used a parallel stitch and then went back with a cross stitch but you double threaded it, is that correct? I've already got the Loncky cover ready to go, planning on getting a curved needle to make it a little easier. This will be my first wheel resto and I want it to look as good as yours, really great result.

@8cam sorry for the delayed response, I was on vacation. I used the satin black and found that it has an OEM look and feel to it. As for the stitching, you are correct but you'll have an easier time than I since you're planning on a curved needle. Glad I inspired you and best of luck!

Cheers!
