I just picked up a LC250 so *re-listing* my FJ60 (in case you've been following this). Mostly maintained by Iron Pig Offroad for the last 10 years. Full body restoration with glass-out paint 2020-22 (it was a custom job in a guy's garage so it took a long time, more info on that if you want it). Comprehensive records kept on it. I also have a bunch of OEM and SOR parts leftover from the resto. Updated the mileage as of this edit on 6/2/26

Didn't sell on BaT. Only 2 or 3 bidders and it didn't hit reserve. I'll take $25k if anyone watching this thread is interested. If I don't sell now, plan is to polish up the 2 or 3 rough spots. The driver seat outside edge is rough but I've kept a $20 AutoZone seat cover on it for the last 12 years and it hasn't gotten any worse so I have not worried about it. Occurred to me sitting at Iron Pig the other day that I could borrow a swatch from the door panel on a parted out 60 with the same pattern. Would only need to be 4x6ish The vinyl side would be an easy fix. I'd want to rebuild the seats during this too though; they're original and still comfortable enough to spend the day on the trails but it could be better just with fresh foam/cushion/whatever they call that.

The inevitable dash cracks but those haven't really progressed since I put a cover on it. Out of sight out of mind.

It needs new speaker wire run. I had new speakers installed during the resto but the guy put the same old wire on that had been spliced a bunch of something. I might undertake that if I get ambitious but it means taking the dash off so probably a day or two effort for someone like me. Haven't looked into though.

Other than that, nothing really comes to mind but I just got it back Fri after a couple of months at Iron Pig getting the steering gear box rebuilt. That was an immediate improvement over the wiggle and 1 o'clock wheel position that they couldn't improve upon after the lift was installed.

The guys at Iron Pig told me anytime someone asks them what they should buy they point at mine first, so that's a good endorsement. I'd recommend calling them for their take on the wagon if you're interested.
