Just arrived!!!! Too dark to see everything but it is basically as described. Needs a little TLC but not bad at all. The highline roof is very cool! Looking forward to seeing it in the light tomorrow. Battery was dead so I couldn't start it. Someone along the way left the key forward. Happens every time.

The Christmas cards from my new amigo Matt M was a nice touch, Thanks buddy!!!!

Your Welcome

Are we there yet

YES WE ARE:bounce::bounce2::bounce::clap::beer:

What a long, strange trip it's been! The car hauler went to the wrong state (New Hampshire) instead of MA. Computer mix up I guess. That's why he dropped it off at 11pm.

I'm sure Randy will be excited to get his new parts too!

Oh yeah buddy! Thanks John and Matt. I think the tranny install will be fairly straight forward and will only have to have new drive shafts made.

The PS project is another story . Will 60 series arms work on late model 40 knuckles? Mounting that steering box should be interesting.

yeah, the 60series arms will work on the big pattern knuckles.
try and find some 62 arms, they are stronger than 60 arms if i remember correctly.

Mounting the box is easy just drill 4 holes and fit crush tubs inside the chassis rail. You will need to make a custom shaft up for the steering wheel. The top arms just bolt straight on to the knuckles they are exactly the same swivel hub bearings and all.
I'll take a few close pics of mine later today.

Maybe you should have done a step by step pictorial :D like your front end rebuild, that I will looking at again as I have a friends 40 here with the arm off the hub separated after the 4 bolts sheared off

The two tone is for sale, but I already have been asked for 1st refusal from a mudder on that and the one that's inbound.

Both are in excellent condition the one inbound is very original, would suit a purist. Both are very clean truck more pics tomorrow.

The 1st arrival is a mudders that I am helping to ship

Air cleaner

Matt

Are any of those troopys coming to NA. If so I would love to get my hands on one of those Donaldson air cleaner as seen in post Post #47. Maybe the air cleaner could find it way into one of the NA bound troopys and then get ship to me here in Ottawa, Canada. I'm in no rush to get it as I'm in the middle of a full frame off. How much $$$ are you looking for one?

Thanks, Kevin

Hi Matt,

What's the angle grinder for? Do you have to cut the Bull Bar off? I assume that means I have to weld it back on? I don't know why, I was just assuming that it was a bolt on kind of thing...

Also, isn't it like 3am there, why are you still up???

I work nights and only nights and yes the bull bar is bolted on, and no you won't need to weld anything back on:D

I had you worried though
