Replacing the starter! Help!

So I managed to unscrew this plug - I didn't want to break the clip so I just wrenched the whole this off... then, while trying to keep it out of the way to access the starter better, I pulled the little wire out... (Yellow circled image)
Any suggestions?
TIA

Suggestion for getting the bolts off the back: unbolt the wiring harness from the top of the transmission. That’ll allow it to move around, and make it easier to get a wobble socket in there.

It’s tricky, but just take your time and be careful.

Thanks for the reply...

Is that all those wires behind the starter that look like they're underneath the dashboard?
How do I reach all the way back there? As it is, I'm lying on a futon draped over the engine!

I'll give it a go tomorrow... I gotta go buy some wobble sockets (I've seen them, I never knew what they were!) Thanks for the tip!

You just gotta figure out your gymnastics. I remember it wasn't pretty, but it's doable.

My Lexus has basically the same engine. Not looking forward to the day that starter dies, let me tell ya.
