Replacing Short-bed on 1986 w/ Long Bed?

Nope. The extra length is in the front section. In other words, the only way to (easily) install a long bed is on a LWB frame, and then you must have a regular cab, not the Xtra cab. I suppose you could splice ~9" into the frame behind the cab, but that's not exactly a "direct swap".
