Replacement seats with wrinkles or without wrinkles?

wrinkles vs smooth - is it just an aesthetic difference or is there a difference in comfort or durability between the two?

These seats looks AMAZING 😍
Coming to your question, very honestly there is no money in cloth. Lot of people come up with their demand for cloth but I guess Ridies will not invest in cloth as it has multiple variations in material, further in colors. so it will be very complex. Moreover the nearest to cloth we can offer is Suede.
Just a wild thought, but would Ridies ever consider a cloth replacement seat with refreshed padding?

Edit: as close to this as possible and I am certain you'd sell a lot of them

I have Suede in my 1989 Ford Probe and I would rather have it then my 2001 LX leather!

Those look great and my seats need to be replaced. How many hours would a good upholstery shop take to do this? the only one I trust locally charges $65/hour, so just trying to figure out a rough cost if I put the seats in the back of my other car and dropped them off.

Depends on your location. If you are in US and fall under free shipping region the order will take 5 to 6 weeks. Or if you opt for fast shipping that on 10% extra cost we will deliver in 2 to 3 weeks.
You can get a fair idea of our cost for LX470 and explore other options as well.
If any further queries you can call us at 317-516-5962

Yes Suede has great quality, we generally offer it in the middle section of our seats, but if any of our customer want a full seat cover from Suede we would love to create it.

Now this seems to illustrate a language barrier, and would be a “turn off” to me.

A question about reasonable labor hours to install, seems to get a disconnected response about shipping times.

Yeah I was not sure what to make of the response. Maybe someone else has an idea how long it would take a shop to do this? The shop I’ve used for other upholstery is $65/hr. If it’s 10 hours I’m likely out. If it’s 5-6 then maybe I can swing it.

Eh, maybe. It could have been read as "how long would a good shop take to manufacture the covers", which might explain the response given. The other post asking the question never mentioned the word "install", only "do".

@shtbrwn86 I want to say it took me about 3 hours on the first seat and then 2 hours on the second seat. That included stripping off the rear cover and gluing on the new leather pieces on both rear cover and the pocket flaps. In hind sight I could have cut at least another hour off if I just reused the rear flaps without reupholstering them. All the required pieces were included and were full leather, even the parts you never see after the install!!

I had no prior experience with upholstery, so the first one was learning as well doing the job. I had to spend about $20 to get a half way decent hog rings and plier set too. Most professionals should be able to easily do it in 4 hours or less for both front seats.
The lowest install cost I have heard of is @OEMGUY0720 paying only $200 for both front and rear seats but I think that is an incredible deal and not likely available in most places.

Sorry for the confusion Sir, first seat covers take longer than the second. You can google auto upholstery shops in your area and go with the best that has best reviews.
