HI There

My 1999 LC leather is in need of replacement somewhat.

Thinking of the below options:

1- Going with L Seat . But the texture is granulated and the color recommended Bisque S0014 form their chard is a bit different that my GCC Spec 1999 LC VxR. Mine is more like Ivory S0015 or Lark S0012.
I want to stay with a close color to stock.

2- Should I try to repainting the leather in the areas where color has faded ? After all leather are dyed.

I guess a handful did go with L Seat on this forum.

Pls advise

Jay

Yep! I sell replacement leather for the 100s & 470s (or just an any other truck for that matter).

The color is as close as you can get to the factory leather. This is split grain leather and does have a texture (which hides imperfections like branding & scars), but it is also slightly thicker than the factory leather, which has been sanded smooth. It is high quality stuff.

I have installed a test set in my ‘98, which was used to test the seat coolers as much as the leather itself. We learned a little bit since then, so a better example is this set we put in an 80:

Seat Coolers

Here’s pics of mine. I still need to go back and add some foam (or buy new cushions) to my front seats to tighten up the fit.
