my pig is running very rich. Fuel is leaking out of one of the jets and pouring into it.
My mechanic recommended getting a new one rather than re building it. Being 41 years old, and labour up around $120/ HR, makes sense.
But there seems to be a big difference in prices, and makes. Stock for around $700 US, or other ones for as little as $180 US.
what do people recommend going?
It's a 2f, in a 76 model.

^ well those aren't 'stock' per se. They fit like stock, but are not made by Toyota and eliminate 99% of the smog hookups to the carb.

I've got one on my 1976 2F. Does well. I fully de-smogged (not a difficult process)

I don't know, however, how to get internal rebuild parts for those from Trollhole. I reached out to him but no response.

City Racer is a great vendor and Cruiser enthusiast. He lists on eBay, but it's always a bit less expensive to go directly to his site.
