I got 2007 LC, about 270k. Had it for 8 years. Former California car, but was in Massachusetts before I bought it. Runs well. I put FluidFilm on the undersarriage/wherever I can reach every fall, but.... I am in NH.... So bottoms of both front fenders are rusting through (driver's side is worse than a passenger).
I am thinking - buy new Toyota fenders and get these installed/painted (White - color of the car) by my mechanic - he also has body shop.
I was looking for junked ones - but do not see white and getting other color from South/West shipped would likely cost as much as getting brand new ones from Toyota.
Thoughts? Advice? Am I being stupid - wasting money on the fenders for 19 year old car - these will likely continue rusting for at least 3-4 years before falling apart. Wait till then? Or do it now?
I appreciate the feedback!
Thank you!

I'm in a similar boat with a 2007 with 240k. I ordered a pair of fenders of of eBay that happen to be the same color. Vendor was okautopartsms.

You can also widen your search to lx470 fenders though your have to figure it how bothered you are about the molding difference.

Check car-part.com. You may find a pair... If you go the body shop route, you would probably have to paint the hood to match...

Given that I am in NH and the parts I would want would need to be shipped (at big $$$$$) - looks like I am better off buying new ones. Are these still available? Some Toyota parts web sites list fenders as available while others - as not available.
What is a real story?

Call the dealer and share with us... check the classifieds as well... maybe some one local is doing a part out...

Just check pictures of the land Cruiser versus Lexus. You will see Lexus has wider moldings.

I would get on marketplace and check. Someone near you may be parting one out. I'm in a fairly small town in MS and there's three being parted out within 100 miles of me. Even if it's not the right color you could always have them painted later.

On LX470 vs LC differences - what is molding difference? If I will replace both - will it work from fit point of view? Or do you need to make adjustments?
there are extra holes in the bottom part of Lexus panels because the trim goes all the way to the bottom... they're a pain for anyone wanting to ditch the LX lower trim and go to LC trim. I'll see if I can get you a pic of my naked front fender this evening.
