Replace or not replace 4 speed output shaft

I’m doing a 4 speed swap on my 72 55, and going to do a complete rebuild since it’s out. Should I get a new output shaft or just go with what is on there? Specifically looking at the wear on the teeth where the t-case input gear goes

No brainer if your going to rebuild it, replace it. If you have the mating transfer case check the splines on the input gear.

I'd be looking into alignment while you are at it.

I figured. Luckily I pulled the input gear from that transfer case and it looks peachy
