Removing sidesteps on LX570 and adding LC200 rocker panel

ya i was debating cutting also but for 650$ shipped, i didn't bother. plus i like having the option to revert changes.

i ordered mine in black....i am hoping that looks okay. i don't want to paint it.

Where did you get them for this price and are they painted OEM colors? I went down this road a while ago and the consensus was that the pearl color on the LC steps was not a great match with the LX pearl. Thanks in advance.

Change of plans. I picked up all the LC parts for 740$ Shipped so I went that direction. Appreciate all the input from people. I'll post pics when I get them installed in a few weeks. Thx!

Toyota dealer when they had the 25% off sale.

one I got is painted in black, 202. my LX is blue.


A0 = SUPER WHITE, 040
A1 = WHITE PEARL CS.,070

B1 = GRAY ME.,1G3

C0 = BLACK, 202
C1 = ATTITUDE BLACK MC.,218

E0 = BEIGE M.M.,4R3
E2 = COPPER BROWN MC.,4S6

Update: Decided to buy LC200 rocker panels rather than cut steps on the LX570. Installed and ready to roll. White Pearl / A1 paint code was a perfect match. On normal height, the globes and brackets are slightly exposed but not bad.

Do they come with the front mud flaps, or can they be reused from the LX? Trying to remember what that looks like.

I ordered the separately. Not sure it’s they are needed on not, but $40.

Big difference in how far forward the thrown up gravel will impact the shiny new rocker panel without the mud flap.

I have the LC200 mud flaps installed.

I totally forgot about those. I have them here. I noticed there's already something there?

I bought them but did not install them, becuase I forgot! If your planning to use them, make sure you remove the rubber caps that cover the holes before you install the bumper.

haha so you and me both...

I saw the rubber caps and I was confused on whether to remove them. The rocker panels are sitting over them right now...oops.
I guess i need to figure out how to remove them without removing the rocker panel again..otherwise I might just leave it as is.

My 'assessement' is that they are not required. You can get to the middle ones easily and i think a small screwdriver will get the others.
