Do I need to make a dummy plug to fool the system?

Any instructions on how to do that and the P/N of the correct connector?

BTW my ARB 50 qt fridge fits on the floor there sideways as if it was made for it. I am very happy about that, but would like to kill the red light, without having to use electrical tape.

Remove battery terminal
Shove a 2.2ohm resistor in the yellow plug.
Tape it up.
Replace battery terminal.
Problem solved.
