Remote Starter Issue

So i have the remote engine starter on my truck and have been using it many many times. But recently it's been acting up. As in.. some times it starts the truck and some times it doesn't. About 70% of the time it doesn't work. Does anyone have similar issue? Is there anything that has to be in a certain position to make this work that I might've forgot? Thanks!

If it's an aftermarket unit, it could be loose wiring on the remote starter install.

Actually, could be that on the OEM unit, too. How's the battery level in your remote? Any chance of a partially broken button on the remote?

The battery is fairly new and i tried to stand closer to the car to make sure that wasn't the issue This is the factory unit where you press lock press lock and then press and hold for 3 sec to start the engine.
