Bumping this for the question above and wondering why my hazards flash upon remote start and how to stop that. 14 LX.

So I “solved” this by installing a Viper two way remote. This allowed me to do 2 60min cycles, gives me a statue, and a shutdown countdown. This works for my K9 handling needs as if I need more than one uninterrupted hour I have teammates that can get the dog. I do still have the car shutdown on door open, which I like, as it makes it harder to steal!
