I was vacuuming my rig and picked up the vin plate that’s supposed be on the driver dash over by the passenger seat belt. By the looks of it, the dash foam gave up retention of the plate. I wonder how many are missing unbeknownst to the owner?

Can you confirm the location of the VIN plate.
You stated VIN plate on the dash by the drivers side,but in the same sentence, you said passenger seatbelt. Opposite ends of the car.
Is the vin plate your describing the one I posted in my previous picture?

The plate came from the driver side dash.

Interesting. Are the rosette rivets still attached to the VIN plate, the metal part of the dash, or just missing?
