1994 1FZ truck, while under my rig yesterday discovered that all 3 of my exhaust cushions were smoked and muffler was touching my driveshaft. Rather than replacing all the cushions and carry on with my giant dented to hell OEM muffler Ive decided to go to a more conventional style exhaust will be starting fresh with new flanges after the cats and go from there. With that said what are people running for mufflers on these motors that aren't as big as the OEM unit but also don't sound like a rice box blasting down the road? I had a flow master series 50 delta flow on my old 3.4L tacoma and though it offered a pleasant sound on cold start but no drone or annoyingness on long reaches of road. Was leaning towards another but happy to hear options. SMOG or anything gay like that is not a concern. I live in a free state
