Skillet - I'd send you mine, but Junks momma is using it as a dil!#$@%$. Completed the move of this thread to chat territory, ok.

The only thing I saw missing in that last thread about how to refill them was I had to turn the big tank upside down so I filled with fluid and not gas?

Only problem I ever had was I forgot to turn off the valve on the main tank once before removing the green bottle and damn near caused frost bite. My skin on my hand stung and was sore for about 3 days. Other than that absolutely no problems.

Thos little refill adapters sure have come up in price though.

FWIW, one nice feature of a liquefied gas (so to speak) like propane is that you can't get very high pressures unknowingly. The pressure is about 120 or 150 psi or so at room temp IIRC and stays there regardless of how much you fill the little bottle.

Would anyone know where I could find a adapter to refill them off the 20000liter refill station we have at work, would I need to run the pump or just work off the residual pressure in the hose from the bigger bottles to fill?,how long will it take to fill?,should I let someone else at work try it first and if they succeed try it myself.Where can I find the adapter to refill from a 20lb bottle in canada, crappy tire dont carry them, can I make my own adapter from a piece of garden hose, the drip type for flower beds and some used twist ties?.

Dude! garden hose? drip hose? twist ties? Seriously, don't even go there, and for sure don't have somebody else try that, even if they're dumb enough to be willing....!

But its a really good drip hose that the dog has been chewing on for years, originally never had any holes in it,can seal them up with duct tape..:D

I have seen this in "da hood"
The store on the corner was the only place with nat. gas so the rest of the block had hooked up to them with garden hose and fittings .
I was called along with the gas and electric company since everything (gas, electric, cable and phone)was wrapped together running along the fences in the alley
