It looks pretty sweet, Chad! I really like the gussets you put in for support.

I went with the IPOR skid, and have loved it. It was a beast to install, but has probably saved my hide numerous times.

I'm just wondering how it has held up so far. I know you do some *cough* testing *cough* on your rig pretty often. Have you gotten any rolling front to back at all? Could you post up some current pics to show how the skid is holding up?

x2 - Other than dirty and some scratches looks like the day we installed it.

The feature I like best about Chad's skid plate over the others that I've seen is the way all of the mounting hardware is protected or at least very difficult to snag on a rock. Yeah it would take a hell of a bang to damage or shear off a bolt head or two, but the weight of the 80 and the leverage, IMHO make it important to protect the 8 cross member to frame mounting bolts. Chad's are nicely protected by the crossmember. I'm glad I went with his design.

PM responded to! I don't think shipping would be any cheaper having 2 of them due to them not being on a pallet or in a box. It would just be 2 items going to the same place... (At least that is what I got from UPS )
