Thought I'd post up a pic of my powdercoated 4Runner wheels on BFG AT 285's.
I have always admired this style wheel. Whatcha think?

I like them. I am going to check out a set on Sunday for my 98 4Runner. Prepping for the Tundra 231mm brake swap later this spring.

Thanks for the kind comments. Will post up a pic of the whole truck when I get my camera back Wed.

Here are a few pics of the truck with my powdercoated 4Runner wheels. I also installed a Safari Snorkel. Many thanks Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters for giving me some detailed instructions over the phone to make the install much easier.

Looking good. Like to know what you think of the snorkel after a while. Been thinking about one myself. And glad it sounds like you had a good experience with powerbulbs.

So far, so good....thanks for the Powerbulbs tip. Great price and service!

Damn those look good, I picked some up a while back for my 60 but ended up with som nice 15" tires instead of 16s so I have them on the block.

Painted them graphite, though

Truck looks excellent. Got any specs on it, or a build thread?

Thanks! No build thread. I bought it new in 2000 and ever so slowly have been making upgrades like an OME suspension, Demello sliders, ARB/Warn winch. It just hit the 100K mark. No engine mods of any kind. My full ABS system has a malfunction and needs to be fixed$$. I'm considering some kind of way to mount a RTT, not sure which way to go. Want to make a trip out to Death Valley this Spring.BTW, this truck is the SR5 model with the V6, 5speed and rear locker.

What brand Graphite did you use? I did mine in Graphite, but somehow lost the extra cans for touch up and can't for the life of me remember which brand I used. Yours look a LOT like mine.

Cheers - Nate

Actually I primed them then base coated with Rustoleum textured dark pewter then fogged with Krylon black textured "shimmer"

Sorry, probably not much help.

Bummer, not what I used, however, the end finish looks really similar. Mine also have a textured finish, which was an unexpected, but nice surprise. Thanks for posting up, it may be close enough for touch up.
