Don't consider myself hard core, but want to get a set of 15" beadlocks. will probably have specific BS requirements but don't necessarily need custom wheels

Can anybody suggest some vendors ?

You could do weld on beadlocks from Chassis Unlimited, Total Metal Innovations, and plenty of others.

IMO, do NOT do 15" beadlocks...resell is impossible, since few people run a wheel that small anymore.

16's or 17's...ideally, 17's. My last two sets of truck beadlocks were Racelines, and they were great. Raceline Wheels

Go racelines. I love mine :)

And woodrow is correct. 17" is the only way to go..

My main question is why do you want them? For looks? I know our applications may be different but I've ran my tires down to 5 and didn't pop a bead. I'm on an 15x8 rim though and that was in snow. But definitely go for a 17 if you do get them. Way more tire options.

Appreciate the suggestions to not go with 15's. My reason to try and educate my self on beadlocks, is that I will be running very low PSI, in winter, possibly breaking through ice on streams, miserable temps, often running in the dark (AK winter), with very little capability to carry a spare. Just thinking of beadlocks as a little insurance.

The wheel size depends on the tires you want to run. If you want to run interco tires, a 15" is the best option. Pretty much any other tire I'd go 16's or 17's. I like my KMC's except for the 36 bolts to put them together. They are 35#'s a piece and are well built. If you want to do weld on's, check out Mayhem Metal Works. I really like his because you can center the tire on the wheel like a manufactured beadlock. If you have the budget, Huchtinson's would be the best option IMHO for a manufactured wheel.
