Ray has done most of the work on my 60. H55, Carb rebuild, partial desmog Virgina Fj60 so I can get away with that in CA. He has also worked on my 77 Fj40.
I think he charges a fair wage for honest work.

Bill Lee formerly Bills Toy Shop is incredible. Unfortunately he moved to Silver City New Mexico (only 2.5 hours). He specializes in LC's and is a ASE/Toyota master mechanic. His number is 505 534 3400. I know most of his Land Cruiser clients in Tucson still make the trek to see him....truly the most honest and competent mechanic I have ever met......no association.

And he gets his parts from CruiserDan.

I live in NYC and am driving an '87 FJ60 for 10 years...looks good, runs good..
as of late, I think I am loosing power steering fluid or it's going bad, as I have to keep putting in fluid...I ran into a guy in front of Molly's on 3rd ave and he said there's a mechanic across the GW Bridge...Info?
