I’ve had an old aftermarket tank, the fill area was a round cut out. I added the OEM fill area to match the front. I’ll post some pics
 
The round headed bolts pass through the tub and through the tank. When I bought it, there were washers on the bottom, I swapped them out to the flat bar, figured it would spread the force pulling it up against the tub. Between the tub and tank are two pieces of 1”x 3” wood that sit in a groove.

The seat frame needed some assistance.

For the engine hump, I found this 3M Calk. Worked well.

It definitely feels good to get it together. Taking lots of photos before disassembling and Mud has been such a great resource.
 
Is this still the closest to the OEM wheel color?
