For reference a picture of both styles of gears, early and late. The early gear is an original and the late gear is an aluminum one from Evan.

I am not having any success finding this gear. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The one in the picture is in my truck. It just happened to be out because I was re-greasing the gear and motor. Another option would be to find/buy an entire motor unit and even complete regulator which includes the new style gear and driving gear.
