Anyone have an idea how to replace the part of fender po cut out on this Toyota pickup. Cut out for large wheel but was not necessary

Cheap set of front fenders. Pretty sure the right fits left and vise versa. Cut, spot weld, fill, paint and enjoy.

Wolf metal also sells patch panels but not as cheap, fitment is questionable from many reviews.

Yes the po had cut the front also. We replaced the front fenders with some made in Korea. I have seen the patch panel. Just worried about water and dirt pockets leading to rust. Thinking more on the line of fender flares. Are patch panels welded and what then. Bondo any gaps?

Bondo works. I prefer metal glaze. I'd use epoxy resin, thickened as necessary if it wasn't so expensive. Bonds great and will never rust.

There is metal inner fender the po may have cut, where the inner fender meets the outer body panel is where my rig would rust. Inside out.

Once I cut out the outer fender enough I welded some thin sheet metal to replace rusted inner fender .

I'm not an auto body guy. Just a dude with a minimal amount of patience and a 110 flux core welder. If you check out my build thread you can see how I back yard replaced nearly an entire rear quarter panel using parts cut from another rig and sheet metal purchased from home depot. Some damage from rust, some damage from hitting something or something hitting it

I now fluid film the cavity's of the body panels where I couldn't clean/paint. No salt in my area but it's always humid.

Also I meant cutting the wheel well section out of the cheap new front fenders to patch into the rear fenders. Fits like it belongs there.
