Just replaced my line on Saturday from bag to nozzle. the check valve was in the lift gate portion. The hose was broken at the plastic union inside the roof near the passenger side hinge. I removed the drivers side outer vent, the rear cargo light, left and right small headliner trim pieces right near the rear windows, then eased the first rib of the headliner loose. Ran new line and put it all back together....it was easy and took about an hour while taking time for a cold Negro Modelo. Remember to put that check valve in the correct direction.

I know that this is an incredibly old thread, but I wanted to thank all of you for the diagnostics and tips (and for the excellent search function on this forum!); was able to find that my rear washer hose had completely split between the roof and the lift gate. Next on the list to sort out.
Thanks again,
O.N.
