I have had my self installed remote door lock working for a couple of years but the rear lift deck or lid(?) no longer functions...I can hear it doing something when remote activiated but it won't unlock...any ideas on how to get it unlocked and has anyone replaced one of those?

There was a similar post not long ago but I cannot recall if it was the liftgate or the tailgate - want to say tailgate.
Do you have a drawer/sleep system installed? If not, I think it will make it easier to access the panel/handle. I cannot look stuff up right now at work so hopefully someone chimes in with a page or link.
Download the FSM from the Resources section, it should show what you need.
