So, if I bypass the rear heating system under the hood – – how much will that reduce the heat sink capacity of the system when overheating? In other words, when you overheat you can turn the heater on full blast to bring the engine temperature down. How much less effective will that be if there is no rear heater plumbing?
 
Slightly less capacity to shed heat with the delete.

However, that's merely an emergency remedy; make sure the cooling system never gets this far gone.
 
Rear delete made no difference on my rig. As above, sort everything out well.
