Rear hatch hinge replacement (1 Viewer)

These have definitely seen better days - probably about a decade ago. Have tried various searches here for if the hinge itself is an available new part and steps to replace without luck. Imagine someone has some insight on this. ‘97 FZJ80.

Is there play in the hinges, making noises when opening/closing the hatch??

Hinge assy, back door (68810-60010) same part for both sides.

No play, but there is creaking and some resistance (also plan on replacing struts).
Thanks for the part number - just what I needed.

Have you tried a good penetrating oil or something like Lock-Ease which leaves
some graphite behind?
