I have been working on repairing my frame at the same time as Devin on his YouTube channel "Dad's toy Garage" (go check him out!) so we collaborated a bit. His is the newer style so I got dimensions from him and I did the CAD work. My cross member was the older style and rotted pretty bad so my dimensions were not as accurate. Close enough for me! I had all the parts laser cut and bent at a local fabrication shop quite reasonably. Just had to weld and grind a bit and she is all done.
Attached are the flat pattern DXF files for anyone who wants to make quick work of repairing your frame (newer style with the rectangular taillights) If you find it useful - please pay it forward and help others on Mud out....
Here is a picture of my "old style" cross member and diagonals rivetted in place. The holes are a bit off but good enough for this old rig. The holes on the attached files for the new style should be spot on.
Cheers
Chris
