Things are so dry up in the mountains right now, we were in some serious dust this past weekend and visibility was pretty much nil unless you were in the lead. We followed @indycole 's chaser LEDs mounted on his RR and that was much better than having them down low. If they were behind the tires, there would have been no way you would see them:

I could not see brake lights even from about 10 feet away.

Hey all, sorry to bump an old thread, but any chance these part numbers work on 16+ LXs?

Also, on the turn stalk, what are the different settings? Glancing at a few ebay pictures, I see a setting for, what I assume, fully off ("o"), a setting for fronts ("=D"), a setting for rears ("D="), but then I see a setting for "<- ->" and "^ =D". I'd expect one setting for both fronts and rears, but what about the other setting?

Lastly, in countries where the rear fogs were standard, is there an indicator light on the dashboard that lights up?

Actually I'm an idiot on the last 2 settings - obviously "<- ->" is just that the stalk itself is the turn signal indicator and "^ =D" is push forward high beams.

I'll then assume "=D" is fronts only, and "D=" turns on both fronts and rears, meaning there's no option of JUST having rears on.

EDIT: I just found an Irish LC manual and can confirm that both fronts and rear fogs will turn on - no option of just having rears on.

Quick update: was able to find the rear fog lamps parts number for 16+! Rear fog lamp for Lexus LX570 URJ201W - Genuine parts - Amayama - https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/lexus-japan/lx570/URJ201W/182027/electric/8116! the numbers are nearly identical. If I'm reading the diagram correctly:

LH rear fog: 81456-60100
RH rear fog: 81457-60100
Bulb 2x: 9081-13043-79
Bulb socket: 90075-99080

I didn't check indicator stalk, but I assume it's the same. Obviously don't follow the JDM one for indicator stalk since it would be on the RHD

Then the last issue I see is that I assume on rear fog-lamp equipped LX/LCs, there's an instrument panel light that tells you it's on. If you're going for the OEM look as I am, then you'd have to find an instrument cluster that has that light, or forgo without it. I don't know if current US spec LXs have that light and it just never turns on because there's no signal. I hope that's the case because, I guess in my head, it would make sense from a mass production standpoint to be standardized, perhaps just minus the bulb.

Yes, when on it lights up. That bit is not on US spec'd vehicles. That is the emblem is there but no LED. See this thread:

Thanks for that link! yeah I saw that too, but wasn't sure if that's the case for '16+ LXs. I'll have to assume it's the same.
Probably, those leds and resistors are expensive. Our other vehicle is from across the other pond. Rear fog lights are wired and in place. What is missing the is switch for them. I bought several on used market from the UK, installed the nicest one and sold the others in the states for what I paid for all of them.
