Rear Disc swap - which way does the bracket go?

Apologies for being lazy-ish, but,

I mounted these rear brake caliper brackets about 6 years ago (as you can tell from the rotor surface rust - oh my! Truck is still "in progress") to convert from drum. I noticed just now that they are flipped 180 degrees from each other. I suspect the one on the right is correct (and either will likely work), but which one IS correct?

I think either will function but the left is more vulnerable to damage being closer to the ground.

Yup installers choice, they'll work either way as long as the bleeder is on top.

Install them so that the caliper bleed nipple is at the top. Otherwise you'll be back asking why the brakes feel soft even after bleeding them.

It is rust. Been sitting in the garage with brand new rotors for, oh, 8 years now.
